The town of Puertecitos evokes the true essence of ‘escape’ – a precious little dot on the map of the beautiful Baja peninsula.  Unspoiled coastal oasis like Puertecitos are rare and those that do still exist are rapidly getting swept up in the fast pace of forward progress.  With talk from Mexico’s tourism boards to build another ‘Cancun-type-resort’ 60-100 miles south of us, as well as the many other enhancements planned for the this beautiful coastline corridor, as we see it, the potential for Puertecitos is unique in that it has all the hope of evolving into a destination spot, but because of the majestic, rugged mountains just to the west it is protected from over-expansion.  Like many coastline destination spots distinctively scattered throughout the globe, it hugs the shores of its water-front locale with pride boasting its location (close to developed towns), views (panoramic vistas of mountains & sea), and its size likens it to an exquisite gem.  We want to grow with this town and have the chance be part of a distinctive community of people who like the notion of exclusivity while retaining natural charm & character.
